*Venus Transit Expedition*

Expedition team to travel across the world for science
“You’re NEVER going to see this again!” says astronomer and adventurer Huw James.

On June 6 in 2012 there will be an astronomical event that won’t be seen again by anyone alive today, called a ‘Transit of Venus’. A Venus Transit occurs in pairs only every 120 years or so. You might have seen the first of the pair in 2004 but you will have to wait until December 2117 see the planet Venus pass in front of the Sun again. So it really is the last chance in our lifetime to make the most of this opportunity.
