Science Oxford Next manages locally a number of national projects and award schemes for pupils:

• the British Science Association Crest Star Investigators is for 5 to 12 year old pupils and enables them to solve scientific problems through practical investigation.

• the British Science Association Crest Awards is for 11 to 18 year old pupils doing a science or technology project.

• the Nuffield Science Bursary Scheme offers students, in their first year of an advanced or higher-level STEM course (year 12), summer holiday research projects in companies or research organisations.

• Lifelab is a careers resource for 14-19 year olds which uses case studies of local people and employers with backgrounds in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
