Open Day at Diamond Light Source Synchrotron
Diamond Light Source in Didcot are running a special Inside Diamond day on Tuesday 23rd March specifically for schools A-level groups (or equivalent). The visit would consist of a talk about the synchrotron, a tour around the facility (which will be in shutdown so you will be able to go inside the synchrotron) and a chance to meet and talk to staff about their work.
The visit will take around 2-2.5 hours and there are several time slots throughout the day (allocated on a first-come first-served basis), initially numbers will be restricted to a maximum of 20 per visit.
