National Science and Engineering Week Competition
Still looking for ideas for National Science and Engineering Week in March? How about entering the British Science Association competition “Endanger Rangers”.
The competition is for Key Stages 1–4 and requires students to research into an animal or plant species that are under threat of extinction. This must then be presented in the form of a poster with a drawing of the animal accompanied by an explanation of why their chosen species is under threat and what can be done to preserve them for the future.
Closing date is Monday 22nd March and prizes include Nintendo DS, WWF adoption and family tickets for Whipsnade and London Zoo.
