Living in a Materials World - Residential Course at Rutherford Appleton laboratories

This inspiring residential course aims to bring together researchers and educators to explore how the world-leading ISIS Neutron Source can be used as an educational tool. The course includes a guided tour of ISIS; a range of talks from leading researchers and discussion sessions to explore how best to use the facility to help deliver the modern science curriculum in a stimulating way. This course will arm you with the knowledge, skills and enthusiasm to inspire your students to study STEM subjects at further and higher level. An ideal course to provide materials for enhancing the teaching of gifted and talented students.

Course fee: £230 per person – this includes overnight accommodation and course meal in Oxford on Friday evening and all course materials.
