Active Approaches in Teaching Post-16

A conference for teachers of science at post 16 to be held at Headington School, Oxford on Saturday 20th March from 9am until 3.30pm. The conference will offer a variety of sessions covering curriculum, teaching and learning, progression, enrichment and subject specific topics. The keynote speech entitled “The Teenage Brain” will be delivered by Dr Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, leading neuroscientist and author of “The Learning Brain, lessons for education.”

Jointly organised by Oxfordshire County Council and Science Learning Centre South East, the cost of the conference is £130 per delegate with Impact Awards of £200 being available to state-maintained schools and colleges.
