What do you actually do?
I link schools and organisations to provide exciting, extra curricular activities for students in STEM subjects
What is the name of your company?
How did you get to where you are now?
I did A level Chemistry, Biology and French, then did an HND in Medical Laboratory Science.
Then I took a research job in industry (didn’t want to work in NHS). Studied for my degree while working. Got involved in staff volunteering scheme working in schools and it went from there!!
What do you like best about your job?
Working with lots of different people from different backgrounds. A great team of colleagues who are genuinely passionate about what they do.
What would your top tips be to a 16-year old considering working in this field?
Keep studying!
What would your top tips be to a 18-year old considering working in this field?
Gain as much extra experience as possible to make you stand out from the rest - volunteering in schools, science centres etc.
Tell us something about yourself.
I am a great lover of the outdoors, love walking and expoloring. My dream is to visit the Galapagos Islands or Antarctica!
